A Facebook user, shared how he had slipped after walking on puddles of water along a hallway to his home.
He claimed that it was because of his neighbour’s potted plants, reasoning that it was because the neighbour had watered the plants and inadvertently watered the floor.
Here is what he said
Please take note that I have reported this to HDB before on potted plants but HDB didn’t take me seriously and the officer whom I won’t name out here, just take it as a brushing feedback
And didnt take any further actions on the potted plants. Guess what happened? I had a bad fall.
This unit is in one of the HDB blocks behind Bukit Panjang Plaza in the 17 plus series block number. This unit is just beside the piece hence all of us neighbours have to walk pass her unit with alot of potted plants. Each time there is something big we need to move we can’t move it pass. However this corridor is owned by HDB and such cluttering should not even happen.
On Saturday 21st may 2022 around 10:20am I came back from buying breakfast. I slipped and fell flat- see the photos , the floor had puddles of water because she watered the plants and also “watered” the floor. As you can see from the photo that I took. After I fall u can see the water pattern that caused my fall, my injuries can also be seen in the photo. I tried to inform her ( the neighbour)but she ignored.
Since the fall, it have been experiencing pain from the wound and the bone inside. Please bear in mind Friday and Saturday morning there was ZERO rain and the water didn’t come from the rain it came from her watering the plants. The pain from the wound would become worst when I shower and when I walk as I knocked against my knee bone too.
This has been told and reported to HDB but they didn’t pay much effort and care to my complaint at all. I am so upset
