A man was discovered dead in the early hours of June 8, past midnight, at a level four unit at Singapore Textile Centre.

SCDF paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene at about 12.38am.
Subsequently, a letter dated 28 June was pasted in the lift of the building, highlighting the death and warning the tenants not to use the commercial/office units as residential units.
They said that it was illegal unless approved by MOM.
