Total nightmare!!! Bought a few times of durian from this stall at chong pang. The one in the middle whereby got 2 stalls. I wish to identify the stall but i cant find the name. Was Conned and Cheated of about $200plus (since i bought a few times).
I requested for Red prawn and XO. Durian seller gave me these and i happily went to a friend’s place. My friend’s husband told me that these are D13 and D24.
I wanted to seek clarification from the seller. All conversations are through voice audio on whatsapp. Seller wasnt remorseful nor did he apologise. He mentioned that he is just a worker and he is merely taking instructions from his boss.
He said “so long as i am selling u durian that is nice and edible, it’s not cheating alr”. so i asked “if ppl want to buy an iphone and i sell u a fake iphone from china, can anot?” He told me “alot of durian stalls also like that sell. Everybody work that way and nobody have real red prawn”
I was fuming when i heard this. You are a bad apple. Dont go around shaming other stalls and dragging them in when there may be other good stall owners with integrity.
I did contacted Lianhe Wanbao 联合晚报 on this matter, hoping that this post gets shared. So that more people gain awareness and lesser ppl get cheated.
My advice to the stall owner: Remember this. During this pandemic, everybody is suffering. Not just you. Dont go around cheating people and their hard earned money.
