This happened to one of my friends and to be honest, he is a very ‘smelly’ person who likes to gamble and make rash decisions with his money then end up losing it and trying to run away from people he borrowed the money from.
People had also tried to go to his place to get money from him but his family will simply brush it off and want to call the Police to chase away those people who come to claim their money.
His family are all made up of decent people unlike him, and some of them amongst his family/relatives are also quite ‘influential’.
Here was what happened to him
It was a usual Friday night and my friend and I were hanging out at a pub. We had a few drinks and then decided to go to a night club in the nearby.
We had a great time, drinking and laughing, until my friend noticed a few people who he had apparently borrowed some money from.
My friend had a habit of not paying people back when he owed them money. He would promise them he would pay them back but then never did.
He was always running away from them if he saw them in public. This time, however, he wasn’t so lucky. The people he had borrowed from recognized him and started to approach us.
My friend panicked and started to run away, but they quickly caught him and started to beat him up. He was screaming and pleading with them not to hurt him, but they didn’t listen.
They kept hitting him until he was lying on the ground and his head swelled up like a pig. It was one of the most horrific things I had ever seen.
The people then fled the scene, leaving my friend lying there.
When I visited him the next day, I was shocked to see his condition. He had been badly beaten and was in a lot of pain.
He told me that he had learned his lesson and promised he would never borrow money again without paying it back but well I honestly also don’t believe him.
My friend is now recovering slowly and trying to put his life back together. I’m glad he’s getting better but it’s a long road ahead for him.
He’ll never be able to forget what happened that fateful night and I’m sure it will stay with him for a long time.
