HR decided I am not suitable candidate for job interview cause I didn’t remember job description.
So I got a call from unknown number in the morning when I was sleeping and I answered. It was some lady from one company I send my CV to. However, I sent like 30CVs, I can’t remember all the jobs. She was like I am calling from this company, if you are still interested, let me ask you couple of questions.
Me: Yeah, go on.
She: Why did you send CV to this position?
Me: ( I had no clue what this job is about, I sent there CV like 1 week ago) Well, it seemed interesting from what I read on website and it was related to my education.
She: Ok, can you tell me the job description?
Me: As I said I don’t really remember.
She: Do you have work experience? ( I am uni graduate, I have none)
Me: No, just part-time jobs not related to this job.
She:What are your ideas about salary?
Me: ( Again, I didn’t remember what was written there). You know, we can start at a minimum which was written on website.
She: Well, based on these answers, you are not a good candidate and we will not invite you to the job interview.
WHAT THE HELL?
Does she think I only sent one CV to this one entry position and it’s my dream job? How the hell am I supposed to remember all this? I have been on a couple of interviews, or they had been inviting me through call and literally no one ever asked me these bullshits until today.
She has literally no idea if I am suitable employee for this job or not based on these questions.
After call I googled it and it cleared my mind – it was position suitable also for graduate, there were 3 positions and you could choose one of them and then you would do some training.
F her. Just wanted to share this absurd situation.
