A cop was harmed in an uncommon shooting occurrence yesterday evening.
As indicated by witnesses, three shots rang out from a counsel room at the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) Accident and Emergency (A&E) division.
A suspect had before been escorted to the doctor’s facility by two cops, after he grumbled of mid-section torments.
As indicated by sources, one officer had ventured out of the room and the suspect supposedly assaulted the remaining policeman.
In the battle, the shots were discharged.
Sources report that two paramedics, who were strolling past the private room in KTPH, hurried into stifle the suspect.
“They bounced on him before he could fire once more,” he said.
The paramedics were noticeably stunned when the shots were discharged, said the man who did not have any desire to be named.
There was a scent of explosive noticeable all around.
The prompt stress was whether the suspect would go crazy in the clinic and hurt more individuals.
The occurrence happened soon after 7pm.
A police representative said: “He was quickly brought under control and stays in police care. The circumstance is under control and individuals from people in general were not in any risk whenever.
“The denounced maintained shallow wounds, while the 31-year-old officer supported shot injuries to his thumb and foot. His condition is steady.
The police is currently investigating this incident.
