I’m sure a lot of people can relate to the feeling of being really ‘excited’ after a good workout. It’s like my body is just begging me to do something to release the pent up energy and frustration.
That’s why I’ve developed a habit of ‘piak-ing’ after a few hours of exercise no matter what kind of exercise it is.
Noticed it when I was a teenager
It all started back when I was a teenager. I had just started to get into working out and was finding out what kind of exercise I liked. I started to notice that after I worked out, I would get this overwhelming feeling of ‘excitedness’.
I would often ‘beat my aeroplane’ after my workouts when I was a teenager.
As I grew up, it had always been the same.
No matter whether it is after a football game or basketball game in my 20s to even after a round of golf now in my 30s, my body still feels the same ‘excitedness’ after I am done with exercise and showered up.
It was like my body was telling me to do something to release all that built up energy.
At first, I would ignore the feeling, but after a while I started to give in to it. My ‘little brother’ would feel different, and it would easily be at ‘attention’ from anything.
The feeling of release also felt much better when I ‘piak’ after a workout.
It became a weekly routine for me now, to exercise and then go ‘piak’
Now in my 30s, I started to have a weekly routine where I would go for a round of golf and thereafter head to find ‘services’ with my kaki.
I’ve now been doing this for years. It’s become a part of my routine every week and something I look forward to.
Maybe at my age now I enjoy it because it helps me get away from my hectic work schedule for a while.
