I had to move to my new place so I employed *company name redacted* to move my stuff. It turned out mover surveyor “S” and his team are very unethical and devious. Pls allow me to explain.
After surveying my place, S told me everything could be done in 1 day. On the day of the move, the movers M and WZ told me it couldn’t be done in a day!?!? S then conjured lies putting the blame on me for not telling him more of the place, when he clearly surveyed my house completely and I told him everything that was needed to know as I did with all the prospective movers who surveyed my place.
Bubble wrap was NOT used for my valuable items, despite being it would to me. Everything was packed in a crazy rush like a bunch of mongrels going after a fish. That’s fine with me except there were many damaged and missing items. I lost a few hundred bucks in the process!! I informed S and he told me my valuables didn’t need any protection despite telling me it would during the initial survey itself. He also put the blame on me for losing the money instead of doing an investigation .
The move workers were utterly terrible and wasted time by talking longer breaks than usual, smoking indiscriminately despite knowing I’m allergic to smoke. WZ was very rude to me in the move too. He kept making disparaging remarks bout my place which he has no right to. Due to their laziness and incompetence, the move was brought to Day 2 which was totally unnecessary.
The workers did an equally deplorable job on Day 2. They did not help me find the items to pack despite being told to do so on the quotation list. They did a terrible job sorting my items. I had to do everything by myself! So basically, I was paying for the mover and I was the mover myself.
After they moved everything recklessly, they were very aggressive and rude towards me like thugs and I was also charged at an insane cost of $2.9K!!? It was double than the original cost and S informed me there were NO hidden costs as well.
The amount of boxes and effort made did not justify that amount. The workers prevented me from counting the boxes properly and demanded I paid on the spot.
I told them I had to count the boxes first and that I was had health issues and I called S and he was very arrogant and rude as usual. He told there was no need to count the boxes as they were trustworthy and tried to blame me as usual by saying ‘I may count wrongly to lower the cost so no need to waste their time’.
I asked WZ for the invoice and he was very hesitant to do so. But after much assertion, he relented, the invoice cost was significantly lower than $2.9K. I wanted to take a photo of it, but he said there was a ‘mistake’ in the invoice and refused to allow me to take the photo.
He and C continued to be aggressive and rude towards me. They continued to press me to pay them. I reluctantly paid for the move ($2.9K), WZ told me he would give an invoice to me the next day and he gave me his hp number.
I decided to count the number of boxes very carefully at home and the amount clearly did NOT justify the high cost of the move! I called the hp number WZ gave me to explain the situation, but the number he gave me was false which was utterly shocking!
I trusted them by employing their services and overcharged me by doing a minimal job. They lack professionalism during the move too, expecting me to do everything when it was their job to help me move. They were very rude and aggressive towards me. There were a number of damaged and missing items which were precious to me.
I attached the original quotation they gave me. But it ballooned to $2.9K as stated!
I have also attached a few screenshots of the awful job they did. It’s not all. Due to a 1 day delay and despite knowing bout it, the movers made me bedroom a huge mess expecting me to spend the night in such deplorable conditions.
Also, the cables and wires for my consoles were neatly arranged only for them to make it a horrible tangled mess in the box!
I had to go back multiple times to ensure they did not leave any items behind, and to my disappointment, they did and I had to retrieve it myself!
With a good conscience, I would advise all house owners looking for a good mover to steer clearly away from this corrupt company and not to trust the positive reviews
