A man in Shandong China has been freezing his wife body for the past four years after she had passed away from cancer in 2017. The idea came to him after he came across the human body cryogenics.
Human body cryogenics is a technology where the low temperature will be used for treatment or preservation. The man then did his own research and had a discussion with his wife before she passed on and his wife agreed to his idea.
After his wife’s heart stopped on 08 May 2017, she immediately underwent a 55 hours surgery before she was placed in a cryogenics tank for preservation. It was said that the tank was filled with 2000 litres of liquid nitrogen to keep the temperature at -196°C.
As of today, there are 10 people who were preserved using the same method.
