The girl of my dreams had finally arrived. She had been a long time coming, and I was excited to finally have her in my life.
Her name was Jill (not her real name), and she was absolutely stunning. She had a perfect figure, beautiful eyes, and the most amazing smile I had ever seen. I knew right away that I was in love.
She had a richer friend
Unfortunately, there was a problem. Jill had a best friend, Sarah (not her real name), who was not nearly as attractive as her. Sarah was average looking, and she had a lot less money than Jill.
I was caught between the both of them as the girl of my dreams was Jill but she is not as well to do as Sarah and on the other hand, Sarah’s looks were not my cup of tea but her wealth was enough for me to forget about her looks.
Decided to ask Jill out, but gave in to my money minded mind
One day, I decided to make my move. I asked Jill out on a date and was ecstatic when she said yes. I was sure that this was going to be the start of something special.
But then something unexpected happened. Sarah asked me out too. I was shocked and confused. I knew that Sarah didn’t have the same kind of looks as Jill, but I also knew that she was extremely wealthy.
After a lot of thought, I realized that I had to choose between the two. I knew that if I chose Jill, I would be making a huge mistake. I was sure that Sarah’s wealth would be more beneficial to me in the long run.
So, I chose Sarah. I was crushed to do it, but I knew that it was the right thing to do. I felt like I was betraying Jill, but I had to put my own interests first.
In the end, I chose money over love. It was a decision that I would regret for the rest of my life. I had sacrificed the woman of my dreams for a life of comfort and security.
I eventually married Sarah and we had a few children together. But I could never forget the woman I had given up for her.
Every day, I looked at Sarah and thought of Jill. I wished I had been brave enough to choose love over money, but it was too late.
The years went by and I was still regretting my decision. I had chosen the wrong woman, and it was something that I would have to live with for the rest of my life.
I might have benefitted from Sarah’s wealth and her wealthy connections, but deep down inside the one I really wanted to be together with was Jill.
I could not leave Sarah as well as I know that if I left her, I would have nothing left on me.
