The incident happened on 15 June 2019, Nithya was found sleeping in the toilet during working hours and was scolded by his colleague. Nithya was not happy about getting scolded and decided to take revenge.

Little did he know that what he is about to commit could land him in jail. Nithya then took a bottle of insecticide from the shelves of the supermarket and poured the liquid into the victim’s drinking container.

However, the smell from the drink was too obvious and he did not drink it. He reported the incident to the police, the poison milk was examined by the HSA and found out that it is a type of insecticide.

Imagine if he had drunk the liquid, the charges would not be “causing hurt by poison”. It could go as bad as attempted murder.
