Eh serious talk, I need to rent/vent or whatever because I am losing my mind. Is it my face, my vibe, or did I accidentally sign up for some global gay beacon network?

Context: I am 100% straight. I like girls. I want a girlfriend. But the universe clearly didn’t get the memo. Over the last year, whenever I go clubbing, it’s always the brothers who come hit on me. And it’s not just a Singapore thing—it’s international, sia.

Let’s break down the track record:

• Singapore (Marquee / Ark 11): Girls will just look at me or act kiasu and high ses. But the guys? Bro, they are fearless. I’ll be standing there minding my own business, and some buff gym bro will buy me a drink, strike up conversation, and literally ask for my Telegram.
• Malaysia (KL Clubs): Went with my section mates. One guy came up, complimented my shirt, and started dancing damnnn close. I had to politely do the “bro handshake” and walk away.
• Thailand (Bangkok Khaosan/Thonglor): Don’t even need to say. I got tapped on the shoulder so many times I thought I was doing traffic control. Beautiful people, but again, all guys or ladyboys asking if I’m alone.
• USA (New York/LA): Went for a holiday, hit up some mainstream clubs. I got hit on by this white dude who looked like Abercrombie & Fitch model. He told me I have “amazing energy.”

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a huge ego boost. Theys really have immaculate taste and they are super respectful when I say “sorry bro, I straight.” But why the hell am I pulling zero women, and 100% men?

My friends keep laughing at me, saying I have “submissive and breedable” energy or that I dress too well. I just wear normal oversized tee, clean pants, and style my hair nicely only mah. Plus my skin game has been quite on point recently, so maybe I look too well-groomed?

Is there a specific vibe that screams “I AM STRAIGHT AND AVAILABLE TO WOMEN”? Do I need to start wearing a standard SAF admin tee to the club, or stop making eye contact entirely?
