I had been talking to this girl whom I knew online for a few days and it all seemed to have gone well.
Decided to ask her out to see where this can lead to
There were countless of things to talk about and it seemed like we would never run out of topics so I decided to ask her out for a drink.
She agreed and we planned on a date and time to meet.
When the day came, I was excited and couldn’t wait to meet her so I got to the bar early. I waited and waited, but she never showed up. I couldn’t believe it; I tried to call her, but her phone seemed to be switched off. I was so confused, I had no idea what had happened.
I waited for a few more minutes, just in case she was running late, but nothing. I eventually decided to go home and try to forget about the whole situation. I was so confused and frustrated, I had no idea what had happened.
The next day, I tried to call her again, but still nothing. I was desperate to find out what had happened to her and why she had suddenly disappeared.
Till now I don’t know what happened and I suspect is because my profile picture too ‘catfish’
The whole situation was really confusing, and I still haven’t figured out what happened to her. I often wonder if I did something wrong or if she just had a change of heart and decided not to meet me.
I also wondered if she actually showed up and saw that the person in front of her looks too different from the online profile of me and therefore she decided to u-turn and go back home or something.
Whatever it was, I still feel like I was cheated out of a great night, and I can’t help but feel a little disappointed.
