Earlier today (20 Nov), a 21-year-old man pleaded guilty to one count each of sexual penetration of minor under 16 and sexually exploiting her.
According to the court documents, both met each other on social media in December 2019. After 4 days chatting with her, the man asked the victim to be his girlfriend when he knew that she was only 14 years old.
After a few days into the relationship, the man started to send the victim nudes of himself. He then requested her to do the same for him but the requested was rejected. However, he told the victim that it was only fair for her to send him nudes of herself as he had already sent her his. It is reported that the man even requested the victim to take naked videos of herself too.
In the same month, the girl went over to the man’s place where both engaged in intercourse. Both broke up shortly after that.
How the circulation started
After their breakup, the victim continues to text the man and he was bothered by it. It was then the man contacted one of the victim’s schoolmate and told her that the victim had bad mouthed her.
He then sent the girl obscene materials of the victim which was later circulated in school. Due to the circulation, the victim felt upset and she refused to leave her classroom for her break. On 06 Jan 2020, she decided to file a police report against the man.

Since the incident, the victim had suffered from depression and she was said to have nightmares at night. To teach the man a lesson, the man’s mother did not bail him out.
The case was adjourned to 10 Dec 2020 for sentencing.
According to the law, if convicted, the man could face a jail term up to 10 years and fine for having intercourse with a minor.
