I was in my mid-40s when I first met her. It was at an international conference in Singapore, and I was there to represent my company.
She was from a nearby country, and we hit it off right away.
We kept in touch after the conference, and after a while, I decided to visit her in her country. We had a great time together and I was impressed with her family, culture, and values. I was so captivated by her that I asked her to marry me.
She accepted.
Things were going great until we had to start preparing the documents for her to come to Singapore. I was working full-time and had to take care of all the paperwork. It was a lot of work but I was determined to make it happen.
Finally, after years of hard work and we had a child, I got everything sorted out and she was able to get a permanent resident status in Singapore. I was over the moon and we made plans for our future together.
However, things didn’t turn out the way I expected. Just days after she got her permanent resident status, she ran away. I had no idea what had happened and it was like she had vanished into thin air.
I was devastated and confused, and I couldn’t understand why she had done this. I called her family in her home country, but they had no idea where she was. I was so worried about her and kept thinking about all the possibilities.
After months of searching, I found out that she had gone back to her home country. It was a big shock for me and it took me a long time to come to terms with the situation. I was hurt and angry, but I eventually accepted that she had made a decision to leave me.
It’s been years since then, and I still think about her from time to time. I don’t know what happened to her or why she left…r.
I still think about her and I wonder if she’s happy wherever she is now. I hope that she’s living a fulfilling life and that she’s found the peace and happiness that she was searching for.
