PUNGGOL = PLACE FOR LOW SES LOSERS
Finally move out from Punggol thanks for the stay here past 5 years. Which was eye opening and a experience which not everyone is Singapore will ever experience in this part of Singapore.
1) the smell from Pasir gudang is terrible everyday I can feel suffocated in the morning and need to clear my throat . Now in central side the air so fresh no more this problem
2) depressing and dark basement carparks. Basement Carpark so dark and dirty compare to even older estates. Other than shelter u from rain , it’s useless and abuse by Idiotic drivers going against traffic , speeding recklessly in carpark corners. Terrible
3) lifts take so long , never once in my life waited lift from 5 minutes onwards in any estate in Singapore . Peak period wait up till 10 minutes and always full and pack with inconsiderate people who doesn’t move in.
4) depressing young couple neighbours with noisy kids so noisy whole neighbourhood can hear when playing ball at the corridors . Parents dun car probably have a lot of problems themselves . Their faces show a lot of sadness and problems that u would want to avoid .
5) heavy traffic and terrible if u work in town TPE , KPE , by the time . Met with drivers from Punggol and Sengkang are hell drivers, u reach office u are already drained from all the driving . But in the central here u dun find such drivers . Probably having hard life must pity them for paying high installments for full car loan and hdb loans
6) no proper food centres or nice food . Totally cannot make it and yet charge higher than other estates
7) airplanes from rsaf flying loud and making your eardrums have problems. Another 5 years if still stay there become deaf Liao

- Because of your bto, u manage to sell and make money. No need to condemn until like that. Certain parts of Punggol/Sengkang are very nice, but some can be bad.
- Try apply house in pulau ubin.. Complaining too much..to those type of people like u can find your own island. We live only once.. If dislike just do whatever necessary. Can’t please everyone in this world.
- I find punggol a nice area to bring up young children. The people here really give way to you when you have stroller. Maybe because people here have young kids themselves and know what it’s like
Really can’t find this elsewhere in Singapore. Just one stop down to sengkang and you can see the difference. Impossible to take the lift or go anyway because everyone is busy cutting queue like barbarians and taking advantage of the fact you have children in tow and can’t move as fast as them.
