A netizen, Steffanie Lim, shared on Facebook about how her father made a deposit for a second hand vehicle, as well as traded in his own car for it.
However, after more than 2 weeks, they have yet to receive the transfer of ownership of the second hand car that they paid for.
Here is what she said
INCIDENT INVOLVING: *company name redacted* (located at *address redacted*)
REALLY REALLY really very terrible. No transparency at all.
My relative made a deposit for a second hand vehicle from them on 12 June 2022, traded in his vehicle as well (transferred vehicle to them).
Been more than 2 weeks since the first interaction and NO TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP done, up till today.
Had to call this morning and ask to expedite.
But nope, nothing done.
Only 4 hours later, informed me that the transfer will be done tomorrow (?!?!?!) because:
(1) system has been down for one week — which system? Onemotoring? Upon checking, the vehicle that my relative bought is actually still under ANOTHER finance company. So you are using my relative’s money to pay off the early settlement for the previous owner because the vehicle is not even under your company? And had the audacity to tell me that your system is down?
(2) he has been overseas — no handover down to associate or colleague?
Seriously. Trying to smoke me?
Only purchase from them if you’re gullible.
Otherwise, stay clear from this group of people.
UPDATE: The relative is my father. And I feel a lot of enrage on behalf of my Dad, who is actually a very kind person.
UPDATE 2: The sales rep from HYC has actually literally just messaged me requesting me to remove this post—I have informed him that this post will only be removed once the transfer has been made.
