
The final person linking to the 2019 orchard tower case is to be charged in a district court.
Hong a 23 years-old man charged with murder initially on 2 July 2019. He was one of the seven in the group involved in the murder case.
The six of them including Hong have their charges reduced to a lighter sentence such as assault. Only Sen 29 years-old still being charged a murder case.
On Friday 5 February 2021, Hong has pleaded guilty to being in the group of Sen when the murdering took place. Hong has also admitted to previous rioting charges.
In earlier rioting cases, Hong was seen in a fight between his friends and one group when he was at the Club V5 Thai disco at Ming Arcade. He grabbed a liquor bottle and continuously hitting a man and fled to Johor Baru afterward. Hong was caught when he came back to Singapore.
Another incident was at District 9 whereby, Hong committed another act of rioting just 2 months after the first offence.
Hong will be sentenced one month from now 5 March 2021.
