A middle-aged man has been reported going around Orchard Road asking money from passersby in order to take public transport home.

It is reported that the man will approach his victim by saying that he had lost his wallet and asked if the victim has some small change to spare for him to take public transport. It is said that the man will approach another victim with the same trick instantly once he got his money.

Most of those who fall for his trick were foreign workers, teenagers, and domestic helpers. The man was reportedly seen in the area every day for the past few weeks. The man was mostly spotted wearing high cut Converse shoes while carrying a sling bag.
