During an MRT ride, a Netizen spotted a man doing something disgusting in the public.
The netizen said:
“See the guy circled in yellow, noticed that he was pulling down his face mask to dig at his nose every minute from waiting for the train at Outtam NEL Station till he alighted at Farrer Stn. Guess how did he gets rids of the stuff that he had digged our of his nose? : (“
A netizen responded and said, “He cleans his finger using the seat?“
Another netizen said: ” now our life already like that still got people want to sabo and make it worse”
Penalties:
First-time offenders who breach safe distancing measures are fined $300.
For non-compliance with safe management measures under the COVID-19 offenders may be jailed for up to six months, fined up to S$10,000, or both.
If they are caught by the Police for not wearing a mask or not wearing a mask properly they can be charged under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020.
Penalties include a fine of up to SGD$10,000 and jailed for up to six months.
