
On Jan 26, a 51 years-old man was charged with a $3,000 fine for causing hurt to a traffic marshall.

The man was leaving the F1 Pit building after finishing his swab test, he refuses to follow the instructions of the traffic marshall as the exit was too far. He then rode over the traffic marshall’s foot sustaining an injury.
Another charge was added for using vulgarities on the marshall.
According to the law of Singapore, the men can be jailed for a year, fined $5,000, or both for deliberately injuring the marshall. Using vulgarities on the marshall could cause him a jail term of 6 months, or a fine of $5,000, or both.
