MAN RODE 95.15KG PAB ON SHARED PATH, MORE THAN 70KG OVER LIMIT

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) shared on their Facebook updates on “errant active mobility users” they caught, one of which was a Power Assisted Bicycle (PAB) which weight over 95kg, almost 5 times the allowed weight limit for use on public paths (20kg).

The man had fitted a throttle onto his device.

It is important to note that PABs are actually allowed on footpaths, provided they meet the weight limit of no more than 20kg.
