Penning down my thoughts that came to me over the last few days.
Time is a finite resource that myself take it for granted as its not a tangible item unlike any collectible or money itself. Using any collectible item say the triple logoman of LeBron James sports card is rare because it’s one of kind and it contain 3 pieces of game memories of the player. Drawing that example, I should treat time as the same as its unique for everyone and it’s a finite resource be it 40 years, 60 years or 100 years.
Time is definitely a more important resource then money however can’t deny the fact that money can possibly be use to extend time be it medcial accesses, quality of food and life. However it is a means to an end.
What do we do with our time will define us as individuals. However why is it important to have ourselves defined in this world? 99% of us will most probably end up as a picture in a frame on a table as time passes and forgotten in decades or centuries after our passing.
I personnelly feel it is important to touch the lives of people around us on a daily basis especially to people who I have yet to know but am close vicinity. It can be a simple gesture as offering a cold drink to a security guard on a hot day or chocolate sweets to the cleaners or even lend a helping hand to a working colleague.
It doesn’t matter if we leave behind a legacy or accumulation of physical assets. At the end of the day, we are all alive to help each other make our lives more enjoyable and better. This has been the case since the beginning of time. Only now we use money to quantify and motivate these help such as food purchases, housing etc.
It is also important to recognize that we are responsible to others, who will be born into this world in the future way after we are gone, a livable world.
Every small ripple will create a big wave centuries down the road. Be it food wastage, air pollution, water contamination etc.
To conclude, move forward in life regardless of fear or confusion. We only have one life and the path doesn’t have to be the same for everyone. It is what we do in our journey that will carry us into distant future and for future of others.
