My friends have been always excellent in their studies, everyday they will sit down and spend a lot of effort studying.
I believe that having book smarts is great, but it’s not enough to get by in life. You need to have street smarts as well, and that’s something my friends lack.
I’ve tried to tell my friends that their constant studying is not going to help them get ahead in life.
I’ve tried to explain the importance of having both book smarts and street smarts, but they just don’t seem to understand.
They’ve been so focused on studying that they’ve neglected to develop any kind of street smarts.
Every time we’re out, they’re constantly asking questions that are so painfully obvious that it’s embarrassing.
I’m embarrassed to be seen with them sometimes because it’s like they have no idea how the real world works.
I’ve tried to be patient and understanding, but it’s really starting to get to me.

However at the same time, I’m also worried that if I’m not around to help them, they’ll get into some serious trouble.
I just hope that they can figure it out before it’s too late.

This is why no matter how smart you are in terms of studying, you need to be street smarts in order to survive in the real world.
