MAN SAYS IF YOU CALL HIM “UNCLE” U GET $2 ANG BAO

Chinese New Year is around the corner and while parents get busy with dishes and decorating most people are more interested in the Ang Bao (Red Packet).

The origins of hóngbo. It is customary to offer your friends and family a bright, gorgeous red envelope (known as, hóngbo) during Lunar New Year. But not just any envelope will do. These are packed with money and represent good wishes and luck for the next year.

Of course for kids who are single, this is a good thing. But for those that are married giving the ang bao is normally what many budgets.

A man recently posted a video online stating the types of red packets he will give to those who called him with names he wants to hear.

He begins the video by saying “If you call me uncle, you get this ang bao (2$)”. Then moves off saying:

If you call me “kor kor” you get this one ($10)

if you call me handsome you get this one ($50)

if you call me “man-god” you get ($100). “man-god” is a term normally used to describe extremely good looking guys.
