A netizen shared a photo showing a man not wearing his mask and drinking inside the MRT, and he was allegedly coughing as well.

The netizen said that the man boarded the train at Jurong East MRT station and was coughing mildly, while not wearing his face mask.
He was then seen consuming his beverage while inside the train.
Potential penalties
Persons caught by the Police for not wearing a mask or not wearing a mask properly they can be charged under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020.
Penalties include a fine of up to SGD$10,000 and jailed for up to six months.
