A man recently shared an image of his son’s mathematics homework on Facebook and laments the type of questions and level of thinking they are putting on children.

The question is a two part question, with part (a) asking a simple addition question, while part (b) seems to be testing on English instead.
The question might look simple for most, but for children it might pose some difficulties as their critical thinking might not have developed yet.
