MAN SPIRAL INTO POVERTY AFTER LOSING HIS MENTAL HEALTH & THEN HIS JOB

I am so broke and it sucks

Advertisements

I have been unemployed for the longest time and it kinda eats into me and draining my energy and self-confidence . I feel like nobody value my skillsets and i cant get a job that pays on par with my peers, even fresh grads. I used to earn 3k/mth now i have 0/mth . It sucks ! Feeling broke sucks! Going to supermarket buy meat also need to think twice, thrice, or more . I went to see a psychologist awhile back but it got too ex to keep up.

Sorry, more of a rant than asking for any advice. I get so psychological imbalance when i see anonymous posts here stating about their income level, some post gives bg context with their partner and their income. It seems everyone is doing so well and still not satisfied, there are people who just want a job that gives a stable income !

Here are what netizens think:

  • Why not start with some part time work? Many many years ago when i was in between jobs, i took on a part time project role. They were impressed with my performance that they offered me a regional role which i had to turn down due to being stationed overseas. What im saying is open your options la.
  • it’s ok to vent. The important thing to do after venting is to find practical solutions to your situation now. The first urgent need is to make some money for basic living. Not pick the best paying job or hope your boss appreciate you, you can get to that a little later. The first hurdle you have to overcome is yourself. As long as a job is an honest living one, go try it for the time being. You’ve got this.
  • Why don’t just work at McDonald’s or something first rather than whine about nobody valuing your skill sets and no money to buy food? Probably another entitled GenZ waiting for the ideal job to drop from heaven.
