A man shared his story on how buying luxury goods ruins his life by swiping his credit card.
Here is the story:
I always thought having branded goods was a way of the rich, but as it turns out, It has made me super poor.
I swiped my credit cards to sponsor my girlfriend for her shopping spree at MBS but it has gone overboard.
First it was a T-shirt, which cost $800, and some branded bags for a few thousand. The worse thing is, I don’t even know what brand the T-Shirt is.
We then had dinner there and I ended up spending over $5,000 in a day.
I don’t even earn that much in a month, I thought that doing this will make her happy but ends up it made me very sad.
Even though we have broke up, I realised that the girl did not even bother trying to stop me or had any shame in stopping herself. She knows very well what my salary is and expected me to listen to her for the day.
I feel like she is ripping me off one last time before breaking up with him.
Now I have to bear the credit card debt and this is really getting out of hand.
Better to be single, rather spend that $5,000 and go for multiple sessions at some”man paradise”
