I was recently in a relationship with a guy who I thought was the perfect guy for me. We had been dating for about a year and things were going great.
He was kind, and considerate, and we had a lot of fun together.
One day, out of the blue, he asked me to dye my hair pink. At first, I was taken aback, as this was not a request I had ever expected to hear from him. After some thought, I agreed, and he seemed really happy about it.
I thought everything was going to be fine, until he started making some strange requests of me.
He asked me to do things like wear more revealing clothing and act more flirtatiously in public. He even told me that if I didn’t do these things, his “penis wouldn’t be able to get erect”little brother” won’t stand up. I was so confused by this, and I asked him why he was asking me to do these things.
He told me that he had been watching a lot of anime lately, and he thought that this was the way to get a girl’s attention.
He said that if I didn’t do what he asked, his “little brother will die”. I was appalled by this and couldn’t believe that he would make such a ridiculous demand of me.
I tried to talk him out of it, but he kept insisting that I had to do it or else. I was so frustrated and confused by this, and I didn’t know what to do. I ended up dyeing my hair pink, but it felt like I was being forced into it. I felt like he was using me, and I didn’t like it at all.
Luckily I work a shift job and no one cares how I look or dress.
In the end, I decided to end the relationship. I now know that no one should ever make demands of their partner like this. It’s important to remember that relationships should be based on mutual respect and understanding, not one person trying to control the other.
