According to a media release, a 29-year-old man was jailed after he abused a kitten till it bleed to vent his anger after having an argument with his wife.

29-year-old Rico Wong Wei Wei rescued the kitten earlier and and later threw it against the cupboard and later on to the ground.
One month later
He robbed a 17-year-old student with a knife on a public bus and demanded the student’s mobile phone. This is not the first time Rico Wong got himself with trouble with the law.

He was jailed for 3.5 years and 10 weeks and received 6 strokes of the rotan, he also received a banned from owning pets which will date for 1 year after he finish his jail sentence.
