According to the law, it is compulsory for everyone to wear a mask while outside of their residence. This is to protect the safety and health of yourself and the people around you. Although the train may be empty, the commuter is still required to have their mask on.

It is understandable that it is very hot when wearing a mask. However, it is advised to have a mask on at all time when going out. Members of the public are reminded to be socially responsible and stay united as one to fight against COVID-19.

Anyone caught not wearing a mask outside of their residence will face a face of $300 and $1,000 for repeat offenders.
