MAN TREATS FRIENDS LIKE GEM WHEN SINGLE, BUT ‘MIA’ WHEN ATTACHED

As someone who has been single for most of my adult life, I have noticed a disturbing trend among many of my male friends.

When they are single, they treat their friends like gems. They go out of their way to help us out, they give us advice, they take us out for drinks, and they generally do whatever they can to make us happy.

However, when they get into a relationship, this all changes. Suddenly, they just MIA for good.

The first time I noticed this happening, I was shocked. My best friend had just started dating someone and suddenly he was completely unavailable.

He stopped returning my calls and texts, he stopped hanging out with me, and he stopped making any effort to stay in touch. I felt totally abandoned and confused.

After talking to a few other friends, I realized that this wasn’t just an isolated incident. Apparently, this was a common occurrence.

It seemed like when guys got into relationships, they changed and no longer had time for their friends. They would ignore us, flake out on plans, and generally act like we weren’t worth their time anymore.

I don’t understand why this happens. Why do guys think that when they get into a relationship, they don’t need their friends anymore?

Do they think that their partners will fill the void that their friends used to fill? Or maybe they just don’t care about their friends anymore. Whatever the case, it’s really hurtful and insulting.

It taught me to be more cautious when it comes to investing my friendship in someone.

I also think that guys need to think about how their actions affect their friends. If they want to be in a relationship, then that’s fine, but they shouldn’t completely abandon their friends in the process.

Friendships take time and effort to maintain, and they shouldn’t be neglected just because someone is in a relationship.

All in all, it’s really disappointing to see how some guys treat their friends when they’re attached.

It’s hurtful and insulting, and it makes me wary of investing my friendship in someone who might not appreciate it.
