A 40-year-old man was arrested in the wee hours of Sunday (14 March 2021) after he was seen walking to a coffee shop while hold finds a knife.

According to the Police, the incident happened at about 12.10 AM and the man was spotted holding a knife and walking towards a coffee shop at Clementi West Street 2.
The knife was seized and the man was arrested.
He will be charged in court today for possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, if he is guilty he will be facing up to 3 years jail and a minimum of 6 strokes of rotan.
The Police do not tolerate such actions and will not hesitate to bring them to justice.
