I wanted to bring my son to the water park while leaving my daughter at home?
wife unhappy that I would consider this.
son is 5 and really wants to go, daughter is 14 months, weather forecast today is sunny, hard to find such an opportunity this month
helper is at home and can help to take care of daughter for a few hours – she does this anyway on weekdays while we are at work
- Tell your wife that u both need spend the time w your son alone cos otherwise he will resent the sister in the long run for robbing him of his parents attention. My boys r post teens now n we still go out alone w one each (even overseas) especially when the other was having exams – both bros r gd about it n r gd buddies.
- Daughter can enjoy waterpark too but if you don’t have a car, taking public transport (ie bus/MRT) can be quite a hassle, especially with all the barang barang.
You may think differently when you see your daughter squeal with delight as she plays with the water. If not now, then when?
- Why can’t daughter go to the waterpark too?
- Not really. Not all children have to do the same thing as long as there is sufficient whole family time
