A photo of a man wearing a cap of a food establishment that is Halal certified at a non-Halal certified food stall has raised concerns for some netizens.
The cap belongs to “Buey Tahan See-Food Delivery”. However, the company has since posted a post clarifying that the man who is wearing the cap is not their staff.
Here is their clarification:
Regarding the photo circulating online that shows a man Wearing Our Buey Tahan Cap selling food at a Non-Halal Certified outlet. , we would like to clarify this issue,
The stall that showed in the photo is not a stall from Buey tahan and the man wearing Buey Tahan Hat, is not our BueyTahan Buey Tahan colleague nor our ex-colleague. Where did that cap come from? we had no idea either.
Bueytahan See-Food is HALAL Certified. We have 8 outlets in total island-wide. We take great responsibility for making sure the food served is in accordance with the guidelines from local Halal authorities.
So just making a clarification before further misunderstanding we ourselves also Buey Tahan because it’s such a sensitive issue.
Thank you, everybody
