Alan Tham ,The man who did not serve his stay home notice after he returns from Myanmar has been sentenced to 6 weeks jail.

His actions came to light after he published a Facebook post on enjoying Singapore’s local food. His actions backlashed on himself and gained an infamous nickname from the netizens “Bak Ku Teh Man”
Tham lost his job at CISCO secure logistics for not serving Stay home notice.
In Total Tham stayed in the public for 1.5 hours. Previously lawyer’s representing Tham asked for a $10,000 fine instead of jail.
Tham did not received the most heaviest sentenced which includes a $10,000 fine.
