My(F29) husband (M32) wants me to take him back after he has accused me wrongly of cheating, how do I take him back?
My husband and I separated almost an year ago. Back then, he accused me of cheating on him which I never did. I tried to fight for my marriage for a very long time; but he wanted me to confess that I did cheat which never happened.
I asked him many times from where did he get to know that I was cheating on him, but he never said anything except that he knows what I am up-to at work.
I was fed up with the accusations from both our families, and my husband asked me to leave the house. He was not able to come to terms that I could potentially cheat on him.
My family is extremely conservative, so they started distancing themselves from me because they thought it was a shame that I apparently did what I did.
Now, he has come back to me and is apologizing for accusing me wrongly. He is pleading for me to take him back. We filed for divorce already but he wants to reconcile now. He said he was wrong in not believing me.
He himself went ahead and apologized to both our families that he was the one who was wrong, and all of them have been blasting my phone with apologies.
I really love my husband, I have known him for the last 14 years; but I am really hurt by all this pain he has caused me.
I think that since I am more successful than him in my career, he acted up this way. But I also believe something else is the story.
I requested him to tell me why he believed I cheated on him, but he refused to divulge the details. He is ready to do anything to make up for the damage, trauma he caused me.
Our families have apologized to me multiple times for questioning my loyalty towards him. I am torn if I should accept this, or let it go. As much as I love him, I am traumatized by all that I had been through.
