A couple in China was having their wedding when the groom’s ex-girlfriends banded together and crashed his wedding, showing up with a huge banner vowing to “destroy” him.
The incident took place on 6 February somewhere in Zhenxiong County, Yunnan, China.
9 women were seen in a video that emerged on Weibo, holding onto a huge banner saying “we are Chen Song’s group of ex-girlfriends, today we will destroy you.”
The women then proudly walked on with the banner in tow, smiling widely as they ruined the couple’s wedding, with the bride looking visibly displeased and the groom looking none too happy about it either.
The guests were also seen taking photos of the “protest”.
The groom spoke to Bai Xing Guan Zhu and said that he recognised the women as his ex-girlfriends who gathered to make a scene at his wedding.
He said that it was humiliating for him and it soured his bride’s mood.
The incident caused his wife to be upset with him for the entire day and his relationship with his in-laws also deteriorated as they demanded an explanation from him.
Chen also admitted that he didn’t treat his ex-girlfriends well, saying that he was young and ignorant at the time, and apologised for his mistakes.
He urged others to learn from his mistakes or they might find themselves going through the same thing that he went through.
