MASERATI DRIVER THAT DRAGGED POLICEMAN ON ROAD FOR 100M, FACING NEW CHARGES

Lee Cheng Yan, 37-years-old, was handed a lifetime driving ban last year for dragging a policeman on the road for more than 100 metres.

Lee is now facing 10 new charges for traffic offences committed this year, while he was banned from driving.

He allegedly drove through a police road block and drove dangerously, speeding at 140km/h and beating 2 red lights.

He also drove on 4 occasions this year despite being banned from driving.

He was allegedly driving a BMW in the incidents and is currently remanded in custody.

Lee is facing one count of driving while under disqualification and one count of driving without insurance for each of the four occasions that he drove illegally.

He is also facing one charge of failing to comply with a police road block and one charge of dangerous driving.
