MASSIVE, MASSIVE CROWDS AT MUSTAFA, NO SOCIAL DISTANCING

A series of photos emerged online showing the massive, massive crowding situation at Mustafa Shopping Centre.

Shoppers were seen in the photos in very close quarters with each other, with very little evidence of social distancing being exhibited.

Multiple groups were seen clustering together extremely closely while looking at the products on display at the counters.

It is also unclear when the photo was taken as the netizen who posted the photo stopped short of mentioning the date and time it was taken, only captioning it:

“Poor crowd control at Mustafa. Practically no safe distancing.”

Potential penalties

For non-compliance with safe management measures under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020, offenders may be jailed for up to six months, fined up to S$10,000, or both.
