I am a 23 year old female who has never dated before. It is because of my pursuit of studies (final year medical student now yay). But now, I have been trying to step into the dating scene, first by trying out the dating apps.
I noticed a trend where when the guy finds out I am a medical student, they immediately ghost me. This has happened a few times already. Are there any guys here who can share with me why? Are they intimidated by my course? Because medicine doesn’t always equate to intelligence…I feel stupid every day because of this course haha
I feel like this late start is putting me at a disadvantage. My mother wants me to date but it isn’t like I don’t try. I have been on a few dates with the guys I met online but nothing works. My male friends often tell me I am pretty but I would always tell them I wouldn’t date them because I can’t see them as anything except friends. (I am worried that they may be just saying this as courtesy lol so I don’t really believe them)
Any advice? Or dating advice in general since I lack experience? Thank you!
