In a startling incident that took place on the evening of October 17, a red Mercedes vehicle met with a dramatic accident along Nicoll Highway.
The vehicle was involved in a collision with a white Toyota, which resulted in an overturning of the Mercedes.
The Accident Scene
The accident occurred along Nicoll Highway and it was recorded on the dashcam of another car that was behind when the accident occurred.
The footage reveals that the red Mercedes was seen accelerating towards the white Toyota and rear-ending it, however the impact sent the Mercedes flying instead, going airborne and flipping over onto its side.
The Toyota, on the other hand, was sent veering onto the left side of the road before hitting the guard rail and coming to a halt.
Emergency Response
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was promptly alerted to the accident that occurred along Nicoll Highway at approximately 9:25 pm on October 17.
Upon their arrival, SCDF assessed two individuals for minor injuries. However, both declined the offer to be sent to the hospital, suggesting that they had escaped the accident with relatively minor harm.
