A metal object was found in bowl of laksa which was purchased from 328 Katong Laksa at 51 East Coast Road. It was reported that the customer found a sharp piece of metal in the gravy.

The customers elderly mother was the one who consumed the laksa which contained the metal piece. The customer stated that he was appalled to find the metal piece as it could have caused serious harm to his elderly mother.
The Singapore Food Agency received that complaint and is currently investigating.
