The Ministry of Manpower is investigating 15 Wp-holders who have declared their educational qualifications from the Manav Bharti University.
This investigation was most probably due to the recent exposure after the state police of Shimla, Indian, recently stated that it has found that the Solan based Manav Bharti University had sold more than 36,000 fake degrees.

The individuals who are currently being investigated are currently employed in Singapore and have declared the university in question in their work pass applications.
MOM stated that they will revoke the work passes of foreign employees who are found to have submitted forged documents in their work pass applications. They will also be permanently banned from working in Singapore.Â
They may also face jail time and a fine of up to $20,000.
