
According to the Government, at least 24,80 people were quarantined as part of the fast-growing cluster among the KTV.
Those who are quarantine include staff and customers from KTV lounges.
In the press release, Health Minister Ong Ye Kung said that the individuals who are quarantine will be tested multiple times while serving quarantine and there are already some who have been tested positive.
The KTV cluster currently stands at 120 cases bringing widespread anger among residents of Singapore calling out patrons and KTV owners for being selfish and sabotaging the livelihood of many.
Ong added that around 1,660 individuals have stepped forward to get themselves tested.
Individuals will soon receive or already receive SMS from MOH and they might be picked up by escorts to their dedicated quarantine “staycation”
Lawrence Wong also stated that they will take action against KTV operators who abused their license as “F&B” operators.
