Mosque money was siphon for Chairman own business venture

Former chairman of Darussalam Mosque, Abdul Mutalif Hashim, was charged in court on Aug 3 for misusing money amounting to more than $370,000 collected at the mosque.

It is reported that Mutalif have committed the offence over a period of seven years from 2006 to 2013 using his authority as chairman as well as head of the administration office of the mosque. He will divide and bank in the money into different bank accounts, Mutalif will then use it for expenses in Adam Association.
