The remains of the toddler were not found until 2019.

Earlier today (Feb 5), the woman appeared in court facing a total of 12 charges but not murder charges. However, the father faces the murder charge.

The woman did not face immediate murder charges because the Attorney-General’s Chamber applied for a discharge as the amount of evidence does not acquittal to murder charges. However, she could still face murder charges in the future if new evidence is presented.

The lawyer representing the woman objected to AGC’s application and wants a complete discharge so that she cannot be charged for murder.
