Accident footage involving a police van and a motorcyclist is circuiting on social media. The accident happened at the junction of Sims Ave and Aljunied Road on the 23 of August 2020 around 10.42 pm.

The motorcyclist was going straight while the police van was turning right. From the footage, the motorcyclist seems to be trying to beat the amber light before it turns red.
The motorcyclist was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for further treatment. Investigations are ongoing.
