According to a media release, 9 police officers and 1 woman were arrested for their suspected involvement in drug dealing. It was reported that the incident happened at Kota Tinggi police station.

It was reported that the 9 officers involved are between the age of 20 to 36 years old. The woman is a 23-year-old who is the daughter of one of the inmates in lock-up.
The arrests were made after drug tests were conducted. 5 out of 16 inmates were tested positive of methamphetamine. Another 2 police officers were also tested positive for methamphetamine as well.
Police investigations are ongoing.
